About My Services:
I offer a small selection of editing services focused on queries and general advice. In addition to being a New York Times and USA Today-bestselling author with over 10 published books across MG, YA, and adult ages, I spent several years working with writers as a mentor in events like Pitch Wars and Author Mentor Match. Past mentees include authors like Sara Hashem, Rowan Skye, and Laura G. Southern.
Services I Offer:
- I will provide an in-depth review of your query with overall and line level feedback.
- Includes 2 additional revisions after the initial review.
- $100
- Additional revisions are $50 each.
- A Zoom call where we can discuss any facet of the publishing industry that you have questions about (ie, how to get traditionally published, querying strategies, what working with an agent is like, etc).
- $100 for 30 minutes or $250 for an hour.
What I specialize in:
- Genre fiction (ie, fantasy, romance, horror, etc)
- Middle grade, young adult, and adult age categories
What I won’t work on:
- Books with any AI involvement
- Poetry
- Non-fiction
- Picture books
- Short stories
- Books too similar to my own
